Electrician

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical infrastructure, supporting our commitment to excellence in every project. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and systems in commercial and industrial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to accurately execute projects. Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure safety and compliance. Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations during new builds or renovations. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports and troubleshooting logs. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations. Familiarity with NEC standards, Ohmmeters, power tools, hand tools, and construction site safety practices. Ability to work on renovation projects as well as new construction sites; experience with frame carpentry or handyman skills is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.

$25.00 - $38.00 per hour
