Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A fantastic opportunity awaits licensed Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to make a positive difference in the lives of K-12 students. This contract role offers the rewarding experience of supporting children's communication development in a collaborative academic environment throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) is essential Consideration given to candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Experience in school-based settings highly preferred Solid knowledge of speech and language disorders, with expertise in implementing effective intervention strategies across multiple grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and craft individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific communication needs Deliver direct, evidence-based speech and language therapy to help students improve these vital skills Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure communication goals align with students' educational programs Maintain accurate student records and document progress in accordance with regulatory guidelines This role provides the chance to engage with a supportive school community committed to helping each child reach their full potential.
