Position Overview The Electrician A will work in a plywood mill environment performing advanced electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role requires strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems and the ability to work safely and independently in a manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Allen-Bradley PLCs Diagnose and replace electric motors Work with chart recorders, Honeywell controllers, MTS Temposonics, and transformers of various sizes Interpret and work from electrical blueprints and relay logic systems Use Windows-based programs including Windows Explorer and RSLogix Perform electrical maintenance in a high-production wood products environment Basic Qualifications Full understanding of electrical testing tools: multi-meters , wiggies, meggers, amprobes, temperature meters, servo drivers Strong knowledge of shop math and blueprint reading Experience with relay logic, circuit breakers, starters, and industrial electrical systems Competent with Windows-based computer programs and RSLogix Minimum 2 years electrical experience in a manufacturing environment (wood products experience a plus) Vocational/technical school diploma in electricity/electronics preferred High school diploma or GED required
