Job Description
Overview About PuroClean PuroClean is a leader in emergency property restoration—water, fire, mold, biohazard—and reconstruction services. Our "One Team" culture is hands-on, mission-driven, and customer-first. Position summary We're hiring licensed electricians to support residential and light commercial restoration and reconstruction projects. You'll perform diagnostics, repairs, replacements, and code-compliant installs following NEC and local codes—often as part of water/fire damage rebuilds and small-scope tenant improvements. Flexible full-time and part-time shifts available Key responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair circuits, receptacles, lighting, GFCI/AFCI, panels, and branch circuits. Perform panel upgrades, service changes, and subpanel installs. Run/conduit, pull wire, terminate devices, and label circuits to spec. Inspect, test, and document electrical systems per code and company SOPs. Coordinate with mitigation/reconstruction teams to sequence electrical work during rebuilds. Read plans, update as-builts, and identify material lists and change orders. Ensure site safety, lockout/tagout, and clean, professional workmanship. Interact with property owners, adjusters, and teammates with empathy and professionalism, especially on loss sites. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical installation and repair. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, blueprints reading, and NEC regulations. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and testing equipment for troubleshooting electrical issues. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects; familiarity with framing carpentry is a plus. Ability to work safely at high voltage and low voltage environments while adhering to all safety protocols. Strong understanding of low voltage systems, schematics interpretation, and high voltage safety procedures. Construction site experience combined with handyman skills enhances versatility on diverse projects. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
