Electrician- Working Foreman

Electrician (Full-Time, On-Site) DiRusso Electrical Contracting Inc. New York City Metropolitan Area DiRusso Electrical Contracting Inc. is seeking an experienced Working Foreman Electrician to join our team full-time. This is an on-site role serving commercial and residential properties throughout the New York City metropolitan area. DiRusso Electric has proudly been in business for over 50 years, with team members who have been with the company for more than 30 years. Position Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential buildings Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and accurately Read and interpret blueprints, technical schematics, and electrical diagrams Ensure full compliance with local and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements Order materials via phone and email as needed for job completion Provide direction and oversight to junior electricians and helpers Enforce job site safety standards and protect public safety Communicate effectively with property managers, building owners, and clients Qualifications Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems Experience supervising or directing other employees Strong knowledge of NYC and National Electrical Code requirements Ability to work independently and manage job sites efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail Valid driver's license (required) OSHA certification (required) High school diploma or equivalent Electrician's license or certification (preferred) Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary Why Work With Us Established, reputable company with long-term stability Strong relationships in the real estate management industry Collaborative team environment Opportunity for long-term growth
