We specialize in the development, manufacturing and customization of precision measurement devices, automated liquid handling stations, and sample management systems. For more than 60 years, Hamilton has been satisfying customer needs by combining quality materials with skilled workmanship, ensuring the highest level of performance of every precision fluid measuring device we manufacture. Responsibilities Hamilton is seeking Assembly Technicians to join our Robotics department. We are looking for those with the ability to work accurately and be able to follow schematics and instructions precisely. The assembler position requires excellent manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components and hand tools.
Other Assembly Technician responsibilities include:
Assemble, calibrate, and test simple-to-complex electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies. Maintain safety awareness of working conditions, equipment, practices, and take corrective action when needed. Process work orders in accordance with manufacturing standards, including work instructions and drawings. Comply with procedures concerning material control, product serialization and stock transfers.
Maintain and/or improve metrics:
Quantity, Quality, Job Knowledge, Cooperation, and Attendance. Assist with the training and instruction of assemblers in proper assembly procedures and techniques. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proficient with the use of common test equipment, including voltmeters and oscilloscopes. Detailed oriented. Ability to read and understand engineering design drawings, manufacturing instructions, and inspection criteria. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work on cross functional teams. Education/Experience High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronics preferred. 3 years in a technical environment trouble-shooting complex electromechanical assemblies required.
