Overview You'll work hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems, supporting equipment installations, maintenance, and repairs that keep our systems and processes running efficiently. This position offers hands-on experience with diverse equipment and systems while learning from skilled technicians and supervisors. Responsibilities Equipment Support & Maintenance Assist with installations, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. Repair, service, adjust, and test equipment including: Air systems and pneumatic equipment. Electrical wiring and assemblies. Production and material handling equipment. Hardware and mechanical components. Assemble and disassemble equipment while maintaining high maintenance and safety standards. Assemble wires, electrical components, and install electrical assemblies. Project Support Assist with projects related to new equipment installations and test systems. Support implementation of equipment and instrumentation for assigned projects. Help with mechanical and process observations and fact-finding activities. Communicate results and assist with recommendations for improvements. Collaboration & Learning Work effectively with team members and supervisors to complete tasks. Collaborate with other employees to improve task execution. Follow established procedures and safety protocols. Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively. May operate forklifts, hoists, and other heavy equipment. Additional Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends as needed. Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Must have regular and punctual attendance. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Skills and Abilities Ability to read basic drawings, schematic diagrams, and electrical code. Foundational electrical and electronic knowledge. Basic mechanical experience with machine parts and equipment. General knowledge of computers and software preferred. Safe operation of hand and power tools. Demonstrated Competencies Analytical skills to assist with troubleshooting equipment. Effective verbal and written communication. Willingness to learn and develop technical skills. Attention to detail and safety. Team-oriented approach. Ability to work independently when required. Physical Requirements This role requires physical activity including walking, standing, twisting, reaching, bending, climbing, and lifting. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.Experience:
1+ year of related electrical and mechanical work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred). Entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude will be considered.Education:
2 year vocational/technical school in electrical or mechanical field (preferred). Relevant technical certifications or military training welcomed.
