Electromechanical Technician

Overview Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician (Automotive, Diesel, & Power Systems) for a manufacturer in Iowa Park, TX! The work schedule is block rotation 7am-7pm. Someone who has been a diesel mechanic would be a great fit for this role. Responsibilities Responsible for the teardown, repair, and maintenance of a diverse range of equipment, with a primary focus on internal combustion engines and electrical control systems. Use electronic scan tools and multi-meters to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues across automotive, diesel, and generator platforms. Perform top-end and bottom-end repairs on machinery, including timing, system calibration, and valvetrain work. Power system service and repair maintenance Rebuild pumps, starters, and other auxiliary components in a clean shop environment. Ensure all repairs meet specifications and safety standards before equipment is released. Experience Diesel and/or generator mechanic experience Extensive automotive background

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
