Job Description

Position Summary We are looking for a reliable, hands-on person to help build and calibrate our gas sensing products. This is a production role focused on putting things together correctly and making sure they work. If you have a steady hand, enjoy working with small parts, and have experience with a soldering iron, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing Soldering:
Soldering wires and small electronic parts onto circuit boards.
Assembly:
Using hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, etc.) to put together the housings and internal parts of our instruments.
Calibration:
Following a step-by-step process to "tune" the instruments using gas tanks and software (we will train you on this).
Checking Quality:
Looking over your work to make sure everything is tight, clean, and built to our standards.
What We're Looking For Soldering Experience:
You must be comfortable with a soldering iron and working with small components.
Hand Tool Skills:
Experience using basic tools to assemble small products or kits. The Ability to
Follow Directions:
You can follow a checklist or a set of pictures to build a product from start to finish.
Steady Hands:
Much of this work involves very small screws and parts that require a delicate touch.
Basic Computer Skills:
Ability to plug a device into a computer and run a simple calibration program. Work Environment This is a "bench" job where you will be working at an assigned station. You'll be working with small parts, sometimes using a magnifying lamp to see details.
