40.0 hours per week Responsibilities Construct wiring harnesses from electrical schematics for aircraft systems. Route wiring harnesses in large electronics racks and terminate to rear disconnect panels. Mount items in racks, ensuring mechanical stability and proper ventilation. Assemble, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electronic systems based on schematics and engineering drawings. Fabricate wire harnesses, test boxes, and laboratory test equipment as required. Diagnose electrical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and methodologies. Follow safety protocols and quality standards during assembly and troubleshooting processes. Requirements Experience with aircraft wiring, constructing wiring harnesses from schematics. Mechanical skills for mounting and routing wiring in electronic racks. Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Previous experience fabricating and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors. Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics with minimal guidance. Mechanical and general fabrication skills.
