Position:
This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Learn more about this agency This job is open to The public U.S. Citizens, Nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Duties Independently manages the installation, repair, and decommissioning of complex medical equipment within a Medical Treatment Facility. Applies electronic and pneumatic theories to diagnose unprecedented malfunctions in high-acuity medical systems. Performs lead-level maintenance and calibration on sophisticated Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, and X-ray imaging units. Executes precision repair and performance testing on ventilators, defibrillators, and anesthesia systems. Configures and integrates medical device hardware and software with hospital networks and Digital Imaging Network- Picture Archiving and Communications Systems.

One year of specialized experience performing the full lifecycle management of medical equipment within Medical Treatment Facilities. This includes the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex systems such as radiology (Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Computed Tomography), physiological monitoring, and surgical lasers, proficiency in integrating medical hardware with hospital data networks (Digital Imaging Network- Picture Archiving and Communications System), utilizing specialized Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment for calibration, and ensuring strict adherence to The Joint Commission, College of American Pathologists, and Code of Federal Regulations regulatory standards.
