ELEMENTARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

- Location TBA Qualified applicants are being sought for an elementary school assistant principal in Louisa County Public Schools. Louisa County Public Schools serves over 5000 students. Louisa County is located 45 miles northwest of Richmond, 35 miles east of Charlottesville and 40 miles west of Fredericksburg.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

To provide assistance to the school principal as requested in the total school program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Hold a valid Virginia Postgraduate Professional License with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision PK-12. Have experience as a teacher, assistant principal or principal at the elementary school level or equivalent administrative experience. Possess leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary to work effectively with students, teachers and parents. Demonstrate strong instructional leadership.

LENGTH OF CONTRACT

Twelve months in accordance with the adopted School Board calendar.

$78,210.00 - $115,281.00 per year
