Elementary Classroom Teacher

Ruthven/Ayrshire Community School District is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about creating a positive learning environment and committed to supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.

Position Details:

Full-time Elementary Classroom Teacher (Grade level to be determined)

Qualifications:

Valid Iowa teaching license with Elementary Education endorsement (K-6) Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional strategies Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Effective classroom management and communication skills Commitment to collaboration with staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons Assess and monitor student progress using data-driven practices Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with standards-based grading and assessment Knowledge of PBIS or similar behavior frameworks Integration of technology into instruction
