SALARY RANGE

$68,300 (Bachelor's•Step 1) to $84,300 (Master's•Step 6) The Rose Tree Media School District and Indian Lane Elementary School seek a dynamic and student-centered Second Grade Elementary Classroom Teacher. This position focuses on developing foundational literacy, numeracy, social, and behavioral skills that support student growth and independence. The ideal candidate creates a structured and engaging classroom environment, delivers developmentally appropriate instruction, and fosters a positive learning experience for all students. This full-time, contracted position is available for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The Rose Tree Media School District is one of the premier districts in Delaware County and beyond. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (PreK-4 or PreK-6) required. Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Elementary Education. Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in literacy and mathematics. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and support student growth. Knowledge of child development and the ability to provide developmentally appropriate instruction for early elementary students. Strong classroom management skills that support a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families. Experience implementing evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies. Experience integrating technology and digital tools to support instruction and student engagement. Current required background clearances (see below).
