Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Classroom Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support students' academic and social development. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing, and adjust instruction accordingly. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and productive learning space. Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to support individual student needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Mentor new or less experienced teachers, sharing best practices in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development. Skills Proven classroom experience with young children in early childhood education settings or elementary grades. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, and the integration of library services into lessons. Ability to develop creative curriculum content that incorporates Montessori or other specialized teaching methods when applicable. Experience working with students with autism or behavioral challenges using effective behavior management techniques. Familiarity with learning technology tools, standardized testing procedures, tutoring methods, and classroom management software.
