Immediately Job Description Hudsonville Public Schools is looking for a Specialist Educator for a K-5 building, Forest Grove Elementary, where the teacher would teach Music and STEAM. Description Delivering
S.T.E.A.M
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) and Music instruction to students in grades K-5 Using technology to promote learning, creativity and collaboration Incorporating grade level content standards with inquiry-based instructional methods Creating an engaging environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students in grades K-5 Using inquiry-based learning methods to teach students in a pull out model incorporating grade level content standards as a basis for instruction with a heavy emphasis in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) Employing a variety of instructional techniques which guide the learning process toward academic achievement and curriculum goals Using district models and curriculum for Music Education Direct and organize a Music performance concert utilizing district curriculum Establishing and communicating clear objectives for all lessons, curricular units, and projects Participating as a member of a Professional Learning Community Building and maintaining collaborative, effective working relationships with staff, administration, students, and parents through regular communication Embracing a fast paced and highly flexible/adaptable teaching environment Education and/or
Experience:
Valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate; elementary endorsements ZG
