Elementary School Special Education Paraprofessional Aide

The New Holstein School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for our Elementary School. This is a school year only position starting with the 2026-2027 school year at approximately 35 hrs. per week. Successful candidates need to fulfill the following requirements: Have or willing to obtain Wisconsin Special Education Program Aide License or other license as issued by DPI Have a positive, energetic outlook and a passion for working with students Work collaboratively with specialists, therapists, and teachers by sharing knowledge, skills, and resources as a member of the Special Education team Knowledge of PBIS and best practices using current technology Effective communication skills with all staff, students, families, and community Prospective candidates may be asked to provide, but not necessarily, one of the following: An Associate (or higher) degree Completion of at least two years of postsecondary study at an institution of higher education Knowledge of and ability to assist in reading, writing, and math instruction and attainment of a rigorous standard of quality through a formal assessment. Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
