Northwood-Kensett School District has many outstanding opportunities for staff and students. We are a technology-rich district with MacBook Air laptops for every student in grades 2-12 and iPads in K-1. The Northwood-Kensett facilities are exceptional. The newest building is a 37,100-foot activity center that is available to community members. Northwood is located on Interstate-35 Two hours from Des Moines and 1 and 1/2 hours from Minneapolis. Each teacher receives (on average) $2,000.00 per year to spend on classroom supplies. Coaching would be apart of the position.
