QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
Bachelor's Degree with appropriate license; or Master's Degree with appropriate content area license preferred and/or expected within 5 years SEI endorsement through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check. Reports to: Building Principal

Salary/Benefits:
Consistent with the negotiated educator salary schedule
Performance Responsibilities:
Design and implement curriculum with well-structured units and lessons. Have strong subject-matter knowledge in the core subject areas. Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, tests, and other assessments, and adapt instruction appropriately. Recognize and address the individual needs of students, and differentiate instruction appropriately. Provide a safe and collaborative learning environment for all students. Engage families and community members as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues and engage in reflective practice. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with school personnel and students. Contribute to an overall school culture where ongoing personal and professional development is valued. Collaborate with educators on support plans for students Establish and maintain effective working relationships with school personnel and students. Communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form. Ensure those strategies used support Pentucket's curriculum goals.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
The physical and environmental demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to work in a normal classroom, office and school building environment. Ability to move freely about the building to perform duties with staff. Ability to utilize computers and other administrative technologies appropriate to the position. The Superintendent may waive or modify the qualification requirements.
