Elevator Installer/Helper

Duties Assist experienced elevator installers in the assembly, installation, and testing of elevator systems according to schematics and technical specifications Support in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues using detailed schematics and technical manuals Help with routine maintenance tasks to ensure elevator safety and optimal performance, including inspecting components and replacing worn parts Learn to interpret hydraulic diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical schematics to aid in repairs and installations Participate in field service activities such as adjusting elevator components, conducting safety inspections, and performing preventive maintenance Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and quality assurance Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work progress and safety procedures Experience Prior experience or training in hydraulics, electrical systems, or mechanical maintenance is highly desirable Familiarity with reading schematics related to industrial machinery or elevator systems is a plus Hands-on experience with industrial mechanics or field service work enhances your ability to succeed in this role Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and safety standards is beneficial Customer service skills are valued for effectively interacting with clients during field visits or troubleshooting sessions Previous exposure to electrical experience or working with hydraulic systems will support your growth in this position

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
