STORM Cheerleading - Tucker About Us STORM Cheerleading is a youth development and elite cheerleading organization serving athletes ages 3-17. In addition to Allstar Cheer and tumbling, we provide mentorship, wellness opportunities, performance training, and youth development programming designed to help athletes grow both on and off the mat. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Elite Flyer Flexibility Coach whose primary focus will be developing flyers across our entire program into strong, confident, flexible, and technically elite athletes. Position Overview This role is dedicated to transforming beginner and intermediate flyers into elite-level athletes with advanced flexibility, body control, performance quality, and confidence. The ideal coach understands proper flexibility progression, flyer technique, injury prevention, body positioning, and athlete development. The coach will work with athletes on mastering and improving: Heel Stretch Scale Bow & Arrow Arabesque Front Stretch Additional elite body positions and transitions Responsibilities Train flyers program-wide in flexibility, body positioning, balance, and body control Develop beginner flyers into elite-level performers through progressive training techniques Create individualized and group flexibility/stretching plans Create and help develop in-gym flyer drills, workouts, conditioning programs, and lesson plans for our program Assist with building structured flyer development systems and training curriculum Assign weekly at-home flexibility homework and accountability routines Host virtual flyer flexibility sessions and athlete check-ins Lead in-gym flyer training sessions Track athlete progress, growth, and skill development Focus on total athlete development including: Confidence Performance quality Flexibility Strength & body control Mental discipline Consistency Collaborate with Allstar coaches to support stunt progression and athlete readiness Educate athletes on recovery, stretching techniques, and injury prevention Qualifications Previous experience coaching Allstar cheer flyers at a competitive level Strong knowledge of flyer flexibility training and body positions Proven ability to develop beginner flyers into high-level athletes Experience creating structured athlete development plans, drills, and workouts Positive, motivating, and athlete-centered coaching style Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work with youth athletes ages 3-17 Virtual coaching experience is a plus Ideal Candidate We are looking for a coach who is: Passionate about athlete development Detail-oriented and organized High energy and encouraging Knowledgeable in flexibility progression and flyer technique Invested in building confident, disciplined, and elite athletes Position Type Part-Time / Contract In-person training sessions + virtual coaching support To Apply Please submit: Coaching resume Cheerleading/coaching background Experience working with flyers Videos or examples of athlete development (if available) Social media or coaching profiles (optional) We are looking for someone who can help build a strong flyer program and develop athletes with elite-level flexibility, confidence, and performance quality.
