Embroidery and Heat Press Operator

Thousands of Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Emergency Medical, Federal, Military, Corrections, Security, and other essential workers each year trust Streicher's as their service provider. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform embroidery on public safety uniforms for Police, Fire, EMS, and Private Security professionals. Operate industrial embroidery machines and complete job orders on a daily basis where quality work and solid productivity are essential. This position will also be responsible for heat pressing vinyl onto garments. Heat press requires cutting the design, weeding the vinyl, and pressing onto garment. An Embroidery Operator utilizes embroidery machine(s) to place logos and personalization on garments, hats, and name-strips. Streicher's will train in all the processes needed to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial/industrial embroidery machinery and equipment in a warehouse setting
• Read, interpret, and complete embroidery orders
• Operate vinyl cutter and software and apply design onto garments
• Follow standard operating procedures to embellish products
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in other tailor shop duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating embroidery machinery required
• Heat press experience preffered
• Ability to read and interpret work orders
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling attendance requirements.
• Extremely detail-oriented and quality focused
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Background check required
• Working alongside other embroidery operators.
• We are seeking full-time for this position. All work is Monday though Friday 9am-6pm day shift. No nights, holidays, or weekends!
