Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Bronson, Michigan

Schedule:

13-week assignment Dayshift (3x12 hour shifts per week) Every other weekend required 36 hours per week; block scheduling permitted Start date:

ASAP Required Skills & Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Michigan RN license Strong background in ER/ED nursing with at least one year of recent experience Advanced assessment skills and the ability to respond calmly in urgent situations Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications preferred) Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

Triage and manage emergency patients according to critical care protocols Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers Monitor patient status, promptly reporting changes to the healthcare team Perform thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic health record Support physicians and other nurses in patient evaluation, stabilization, and ongoing care Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions Follow hospital procedures, emphasizing safety and infection control standards
