Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Experienced emergency room registered nurses are sought for a contract opportunity delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in triaging and managing critical cases, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and responding decisively during emergencies.
Key Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications At least one year of recent experience working as an RN in an emergency room setting Proficient clinical assessment, documentation, and patient care skills Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity for rapid decision-making Excellent communication and collaboration with physicians, healthcare staff, and families Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adjust to a dynamic environment
Responsibilities:
Triage and assess incoming ER patients, prioritizing care based on acuity Administer medications, IVs, and perform necessary procedures and interventions Monitor patient vital signs and status, swiftly responding to changes in condition Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to ensure cohesive treatment and care plans Educate patients and families on procedures, diagnoses, and follow-up care as appropriate Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and all regulatory standards This contract role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes while gaining valuable emergency medicine experience.
