Emergency Room Nurse (RN) - Simi Valley, CA

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent ER nursing experience Proficiency in handling acute emergencies and trauma cases Strong assessment, triage, and documentation skills Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, support staff, and fellow nurses Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and implement care for patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions Provide rapid, accurate triage and detailed patient monitoring Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Operate and monitor medical equipment relevant to emergency care Assist with procedures, wound care, and diagnostic processes as needed Maintain comprehensive and organized patient records Educate patients and families regarding care and follow-up instructions
