Credit Union Job Summary:
The EWR Program Manager coordinates and supports a multidisciplinary clinical team delivering culturally competent, evidence-based mental health and substance use services at a designated Positive Impact Health Centers location and via telehealth. Under supervision, this role supports program operations, assists with quality assurance activities, staff development, and clinical consultation. The Program Manager works collaboratively with HIV medical, prevention, and case management teams to support integrated care delivery. The role requires developing clinical judgment, strong organizational abilities, and experience serving diverse populations impacted by HIV, mental health, and substance use challenges, along with a master's-level education and full licensure or progress toward licensure. Requirements Provide clinical support, consultation, and direction for counselors and peer specialist staff at the assigned site. Participates in clinical and administrative supervision activities under the guidance of the senior Program Manager or supervisor. Attends and contributes to regular clinical case staffing and case reviews to support ethical practice, appropriate service delivery, and adherence to evidence-based and trauma-informed practices. Assists with crisis intervention and consultation during mental health emergencies under supervision, learning protocols for coordinating higher levels of care when indicated. Supports implementation of evidence-based mental health and substance use treatment models across services. Works with the operations team to review clinical charts and support compliance with standards of practice and regulatory requirements. Assists in coordinating mental health services with the HIV medical clinic, prevention services, case management, and other internal departments. Provides individual and/or group mental health and substance use counseling services in the office and/or via telehealth to maintain clinical skills and support program operations. Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in the electronic medical record. Participates in program leadership activities, including weekly program management meetings and development or revision of Behavioral Health SOPs.Additional Responsibilities:
Assists with onboarding and training of new counseling staff, peer specialists, and interns. Supports professional development planning for clinical team members. Participates in quality assurance activities and chart audits. Assists in monitoring program metrics and reporting requirements. Serves as a clinical resource to staff regarding ethical standards and best practices. Attends departmental meetings and contributes to policy development. Maintains active clinical caseload to support program operations and clinical skill development. Develops competency in program management, supervision, and leadership skills.Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. Two years of experience in a social services or mental health setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to travel locally between Positive Impact Health Centers and community agencies as required.Preferred Experience:
Interest in developing clinical supervision and program management skills. Knowledge of evidence-based mental health and substance use treatment modalities. Familiarity with integrated care models, particularly within HIV-focused or community health settings. Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals living with HIV, LGBTQ+ communities, individuals experiencing homelessness, and individuals with co-occurring disorders. Spanish language fluency (highly valued).LICENSE/LICENSURE
Associate-level license required (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, or equivalent) OR full license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist) strongly preferred. Candidates working toward licensure will be considered if they demonstrate strong program coordination potential and commitment to obtaining licensure within 12 months.Similar remote jobs
