Employer Outreach and Job Development Specialist

Make a Real Impact on Students' Careers Hunter Business School is seeking a dynamic, outgoing, and results-driven professional to join our Career Services team as an Employer Outreach and Job Development Specialist . In this role, you will be responsible for identifying job opportunities and building strong relationships with employers in the healthcare and IT sectors to support employment outcomes for our Career and Technical Education students.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively contact and cultivate relationships with local and regional employers in the healthcare and IT industries Identify and develop job leads, internships, and externships for students and recent graduates Collaborate with Career Services staff to align employer needs with student skills and interests Maintain a database of employer contacts and job openings Represent Hunter Business School at job fairs, networking events, and industry gatherings

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to build partnerships with businesses or organizations Knowledge of the healthcare and/or IT job market preferred Prior experience in job development, sales, business development, or recruiting is a plus Passion for student success and career readiness

Hours:

Two days a week 9am

• 5pm, two days a week 10am
• 8pm and Friday either 9am
• 1pm or 11am
