Employment Law Attorney - Concord, CA A well-regarded public-sector focused law firm is seeking an Employment Law Attorney to join its Concord office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator with a background in employment matters, particularly those involving public agencies or school districts. The firm offers flexibility in work arrangement (onsite, hybrid, and remote options). Responsibilities Handle employment law matters involving public entities and school districts Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery Conduct legal research and provide employment law advice and counsel Represent clients in hearings, negotiations, and litigation proceedings Manage cases from intake through resolution Collaborate with attorneys and clients on strategy and compliance matters Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school Active California Bar license in good standing 6-8 years of employment law experience preferred Experience working with school districts or public agencies preferred Solid research, writing, and litigation skills Ability to manage a caseload independently Benefits Competitive compensation 401(k) retirement plan Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid bar dues and CLE Flexible work arrangement (in-office, hybrid, or remote depending on candidate experience) 1800 billable hour requirement Professional development and growth opportunities To learn more about this opportunity or other openings, please contact: Carolina Ries at carolina.ries@gogpac.com or call/text 605-679-4241.
