Job Summary Modern Endo Long Island | Great Neck, NY Modern Endo Long Island is seeking a motivated Associate Endodontist with a clear Partnership Track opportunity to join our newly built, state-of-the-art specialty practice in Great Neck, Long Island. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious endodontist looking for more than just an associate position. Our practice was recently designed as a modern branded endodontic office, offering a supportive clinical environment and the opportunity to grow into equity ownership as the practice continues to expand. Located in a strong referral community with significant demand for specialty care, this role is ideal for a clinician who values clinical excellence, modern technology, and long-term professional growth. Practice Highlights New modern build-out specialty office CBCT imaging and advanced endodontic technology Strong and growing referral network of general dentists Professional, patient-centered environment Opportunity to help build and grow a modern endodontic brand Responsibilities Perform root canal treatments, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other advanced endodontic procedures with skill and attention to detail. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging such as medical imaging techniques. Collaborate closely with general dentists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control procedures rigorously to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-operative instructions clearly to patients. Stay current with advancements in endodontics, dental technology (such as Epic software), and best practices in infection control and patient care standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of endodontic procedures including root canal therapy, root canal retreatments, and dental surgeries like apicoectomies. Proficiency with dental office management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and general dentistry principles. Experience with pediatric dentistry techniques relevant to treating young or anxious patients when necessary. Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently for optimal patient comfort and procedural success. Familiarity with medical imaging technology used in diagnosis and treatment planning. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on assessment, communication, empathy, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
