Job Description

A busy Gastroenterology Ambulatory Surgical Center in Thomasville is seeking an Endoscopy LPN to join their growing team! This is a great opportunity for an LPN interested in procedural nursing, endoscopy, PACU, or pre-op care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Newer grads are encouraged to apply! Prior hospital or surgery experience is not required. The biggest priority is finding someone who is eager to learn endoscopy and is confident starting IVs.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday No weekends, holidays, or call
Position Highlights:
Provide direct patient care before, during, and after Endoscopic procedures Work collaboratively with physicians and the procedural team in the Ambulatory Surgical Center Administer prescribed medications as ordered by the physician Start IVs using aseptic technique Monitor and support patients through pre-op, intra-procedural, and recovery phases Assist with cleaning and preparing procedure rooms between cases according to Infection Control policies
Qualifications:
Current North Carolina LPN license without restrictions Current BLS certification Comfortable and confident with starting IVs Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Must have reliable transportation, valid NC driver's license, and current vehicle insurance This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive specialty team with a stable weekday schedule and strong work-life balance!
