06/14/26, or until filled Engagement Assistant Specialist Lincoln Community Center A position is available for an Engagement Assistant Specialist with Community Education beginning July 1, 2026.

Summary of Duties :

Under the supervision of the Engagement and Communications Coordinator, the Assistant Engagement Specialist provides essential operational and organizational support for the Engagement Office and Community Education Department. The position is characterized by the execution of established workflows and the maintenance of data integrity. Key responsibilities include the data processing and practices for specific volunteer partnerships, the distribution of marketing and recruitment materials, and serving as the primary hospitality contact for the office.

Qualifications Required:

Exceptional Communication:

Ability to maintain a professional demeanor through attire and attitude while providing empathetic, high-level written and verbal correspondence to diverse stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Professional Mobility & Representation:

Must possess a valid Minnesota Driver's License and access to reliable transportation. This role requires the ability to travel between district locations to represent Community Education at community events and off-site meetings.

Operational Agility:

Proven ability to manage complex recurring timelines and yearly schedules with a proactive willingness to learn new skills as the program evolves.

Relational Leadership:

Skilled in proactive engagement to improve the stakeholder experience within a shared-space environment.

Adaptability:

Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and work effectively with a frequently changing clientele.

$51,164

Other Information:

This is a full-time, 12-month, Non-affiliated position with Category II benefits.
