Job Description
About the Role As the Engagement Manager for the Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga, you'll play a key role in outreach, programming, and building relationships with families, individuals, teens, and newcomers. You'll help create strong connections and ensure everyone has meaningful experiences in our community. Your Responsibilities •
Engagement Focus:
You'll engage young professionals and families by planning and implementing exciting programs and building relationships (primary job responsibility) •Welcoming Newcomers:
You'll be the friendly face welcoming all newcomers to our Jewish community.Data Collection:
Use CRM and other tools to gather data for a targeted approach to engage young professionals, families, and newcomers of all ages. •Support Leadership & Programming:
Assist the President & CEO as well as teh Chief Impact Officer (programs) in boosting participation in Federation programs and developing our donor base. •PJ Library Program:
Lead the PJ Library program by maintaining the database, applying for grants, and planning fun programming for kids and families. •Major Programs Support:
Help with exciting events like Chai Night, Campaign Kickoff, Jewish Food Festival, Yom Events, and the Chanukah Party. •Preschool Liaison:
Act as the Jewish Federation staff liaison with Aleph Bet Preschool (parents and families). •Volunteer Coordination:
Work with the Chief Impact Officer to recruit and manage volunteers. •Jew Crew Program:
Oversee the Jew Crew high school teen program, reach out to parents, recruit volunteer advisors, and assist with programming. •Social Media Content:
Create and share engaging content for our social media channels, collaborating with other staff members. •Monthly Article:
Write a monthly article for our magazine, The Shofar.Job Status Status:
