Job Description:

Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Lab Tech for a contract position in Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay Range:

$25.00 to $26.00 per hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Purpose:

Will be part of a team conducting tests for our RAC team using our psychrometric and calorimeter chambers. Will primarily conduct Performance and Energy testing. Might be asked to learn UL testing. Engineering Lab Tech job responsibilities include: Execute test plans per engineering requirements. Set up test units and start data acquisition. Monitor key noise parameters. Document test results. Move engineering samples between the test area, preparation area, and storage area.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associates Degree (technical) or military equivalent; 2 years experience Thorough understanding of test equipment Ability to work with minimum supervision Attention to detail and time management skills Knowledgeable of multiple test procedures Proficient with Microsoft office products Strong understanding of products (operation and failure modes) Physical ability to move large appliances If you are interested in this role, then please click
