• Construction Estimator Seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Engineer II with construction estimating experience to support planning, budgeting, and execution of aerospace facility construction projects.

This role works closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop accurate estimates and support cost control initiatives. Responsibilities Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialized facility projects. Develop and maintain estimating templates, unit-cost databases, and historical cost data. Review drawings, specifications, and BIM models to validate scope, labor, material, and equipment costs. Support bid packages, subcontractor pricing, value engineering, and post-bid reviews. Assist with change orders, cost impact analysis, risk assessments, and contingency planning. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and subcontractors to resolve scope and constructability issues. Ensure compliance with contractual and government regulations, including FAR and DFARS. Required Qualifications 5+ years of construction estimating experience or equivalent estimator certification. Experience supporting large-scale, high-tech, or government-contracted construction projects. Proficiency with estimating software such as Sage Estimating, WinEst, or ProEst. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and analytical reporting tools. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models. Knowledge of construction methods, codes, and industry standards (AIA, ASCE). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High School Diploma OR GED required, Bachelor's Degree highly preferred Preferred Qualifications Aerospace, defense, or other regulated facility construction experience. Knowledge of government contracting regulations and cost accounting standards.
