ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY SUMMARY
: We are currently searching for 6 Full-Time Student Research Assistants to work on the CubeSTEP Grant under the supervision of Dr. Navid Nakhjiri during the Summer 2026.SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
(this is just a small sampling of work variety): Help in various activities related to CubeSTEP research Support the various activities of the entire team Coordinate the collaboration with JPL Coordinate the contact with vendors and service providers Assist in research and documentation of the project Must be able to adhere to a regular work schedule.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Cal Poly Pomona Student in Fall 2026 pursuing a degree in Science or Engineering Must have a GPA of 3.0 or better Must be a US Citizen Must be familiar with Space Systems and CubeSatsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

: As the largest employer of students on the Cal Poly Pomona campus, the Foundation offers valuable work experience and hands-on training to approximately 1,500 Cal Poly Pomona students each year.
