- Flight Sciences Integration to support the Flight Sciences technical discipline within the newly established Vehicle Engineering (VE) CoTE.
- Flight Sciences Integration candidate will work closely with the Flight Sciences Discipline Process Technical Owner (DPTO) to deliver Sector wide technical discipline capabilities for processes, tools, and training within the Flight Sciences discipline.

Basic Qualifications:
Engineer Aeronautical- Flight Sciences Integration Bachelors Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience Experience in Air Vehicle Flight Sciences and Controls program execution within an integrated product team environment that aligns to a technical background in a specific FS discipline area, such as Mass Properties, Loads & Dynamics, Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC), Vehicle Management Systems (VMS), Aerodynamics, Performance, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Configuration, or Propulsion Experience utilizing Flight Sciences analysis methods, tools, standards, and processes Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and geographically dispersed teams Experience with or exposure to digital design initiatives and solutions Must have an active DoD secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and eligibility for Top Secret/SCI Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) Ability to travel as needed (approx.

Preferred Qualifications:
BS or MS in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Current Special Program Access (PAR) Experience utilizing agile tools, including Confluence and JIRA Experience with Matlab, Simulink, C/C++, Python Knowledge of industry practices for developing and utilizing engineering design and analysis software systems. Continuous improvement mindset with experience leading process optimization. This position supports all Aeronautics Systems business divisions at all of the Aeronautics Systems primary geographic sites, including: Melbourne, FL; Palmdale, CA; San Diego, CA; and South Bay (El Segundo / Redondo Beach / Manhattan Beach), CA. This position is geographically flexible and can be based at any of the 4 locations listed abovePrimary Level Salary Range:
$79,300.00- $137,600.
Secondary Level Salary Range:
$98,400.00- $147,600.
