POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring aerospace components meet all customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. This role supports manufacturing operations, supplier quality, and engineering activities to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant products used in aerospace and high-performance applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure compliance with lSO and applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal, customer, and third-party audits; lead corrective action responses.
  • Maintain and improve quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection records.
  • Ensure proper control of documents, records, and configuration changes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Support supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Review supplier documentation including material certifications.
  • Assist with supplier audits and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve process capability.
  • Interface with customers on quality issues, investigations, and compliance documentation.
  • Support customer inspections, source inspections, and product acceptance activities.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering(Quality, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related).
  • 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Aerospace inspection and testing methods
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with electronic QMS and ERP systems.
