Job Description

As a Quality Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality, customer satisfaction and effectiveness of our quality management systems and processes. You will work closely with our customers to understand their quality requirements and address any issues or concerns they may have. Your expertise in quality engineering and strong problem-solving skills will be essential in driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location. In this role, you will impact the overall quality of our products and services, ensuring that they meet or exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements. Your ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders will be key in building strong relationships and driving customer satisfaction. YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
WE VALUE
  • Experience in the manufacturing or aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and tools
  • Six Sigma certification

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and address any issues or concerns
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Conduct AS9100 internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain site supplement for Cabin Management System/Commercial businesses to ensure quality management systems and processes are up-to-date.
