Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add an Aeronautical Engineer (Electrical Routing) OR a Principal Aeronautical Engineer (Electrical Routing) to our team in Melbourne, FL. As a member of the Electrical Routing Team, you will be responsible for:
- Support electrical wiring team group with their design needs, support manufacturing with wiring integration, route cable/wiring harness in 3D environment in accordance with NG Standard and MIL-W-5088 or AS 50881, and design and release cable/wiring installation.
- Develop technical solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
- Actively participate in team discussions by offering ideas and suggestions on how we can enhance the team and/or individual's ability to execute tasks, improve performance, and encourage innovation
- Proactively look to organize team tasks
- Make good judgment design decisions regarding individual tasks. i.e minimizing rework and maximizing reuse of existing designs
- Make efficient use of time and resources by prioritizing tasks to meet commitments
- Professionally represent the organization while interacting with internal and external contacts. Communicate with senior personnel on technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations
- Complete all BTPs, Change Orders, reports, analyses, and other deliverables and assignments with a high degree of quality and prepare for and participate in all product life cycle design reviews as required. Complete peer check assignment duties as requested and on time.
- Professionally represent the organization while interacting with internal and external contacts.
