Job Description

- Designs, develops, implements, verifies and tests algorithms to perform guidance, navigation and control of aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles and upper stages during powered and coast phases of flight, earth orbit, interplanetary cruise and orbital insertion, as well as during staging events.
- Basic Qualifications
- + BS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, applied mathematics, or similar STEM degree + 8+ years of professional experience in a relevant field + Solid mathematical capabilities that include linear algebra, dynamics, coordinate frame transformations, and state estimation techniques + Experience with different simulation and test environments (6-DOF IFS, HWIL, flight test experience, etc.
- Desired Skills
- + MS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, applied mathematics, or similar STEM degree + Experience using a Linux-based operating system + Familiarity with some, or all, of the following: linear algebra, probability and statistics, state dynamic equations, Kalman filter applications, kinematics and rotating coordinate systems + Experience integrating and testing hardware and software in Hardware In-the-Loop (HWIL) + Prior experience supporting flight test preparation, execution, and evaluation + Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams + Demonstrated ability to mentor, teach, and provide technical leadership •Pay Information•
Full-Time Salary Range:
