Prepare substantiation reports, flammability test plans, cabin safety reports, and certification documentation. Support STC/PMA certification projects and manage certification deliverables from suppliers. Identify applicable FAA/FAR airworthiness requirements for design changes. Coordinate with FAA regulatory authorities, DERs, DARs, customers, and project stakeholders. Prepare certification presentations and support certification review meetings. Ensure compliance with aircraft certification standards and regulatory requirements. Required Skills Strong knowledge of FAA/FAR regulations and aircraft certification processes. Experience preparing and reviewing PSCPs, Certification Plans, Compliance Checklists, and Test Reports. Understanding of aircraft structures, mechanical systems, aerospace materials, and fabrication methods. Experience working with FAA DERs and DARs. Familiarity with STC/PMA certification programs and airworthiness requirements. Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 4-7 years of experience in Aircraft Certification, Design, or Substantiation Engineering. Experience with aircraft interiors certification is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple certification activities simultaneously.Qualification:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline. 4-7 years of engineering experience (including relevant internships and co-op assignments). Knowledge of aircraft certification processes, compliance demonstration, and substantiation methods. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Understanding of:
