Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:
Conduct complex technical studies and analyze manufacturing operations (existing and proposed) Develop recommendations for equipment, production methods, and process improvements Create detailed work instructions to optimize efficiency and drive zero-defect manufacturing Author rework instructions (DRDI/DMT) to support corrective actions Develop and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) in systems such as SAP or Solumina Perform productibility studies and support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts Apply statistical methods to forecast manufacturing requirements and generate reports Support vendor evaluations, negotiations, and issue resolution Investigate and justify equipment and facility needs Audit processes and outputs to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards Lead or coordinate cross-functional projects with minimal supervision Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing processes Support safety, sustainability, ergonomic, and business continuity initiatives Ensure adherence to quality policies and recommend improvements Maintain accurate reporting of daily and weekly activities Perform other duties as assignedRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering , or a related field (or equivalent experience) 18+ months of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, planning, or a related technical role Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Familiarity with tooling, quality control, plant safety, and shop math Experience with systems/tools such as SAP, Solumina, CATIA, Corridor , or similar Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Preferred Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher Strong collaboration and leadership skills in cross-functional environmentsAbout Us:
