What we do: Design, develop, calibrate & validate Propulsion Systems globally including traditional engines, transmissions, battery electric, alternative fuels, hybrids, thermal, HVAC, intake & exhaust systems, vehicle & propulsion controls and software.

This internship offers a hands-on experience in the design, development, and validation of advanced propulsion technologies, including internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, and electrified powertrains.

As a PDT Summer intern in Propulsion Systems, you will support one of the following areas:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Mechanical, Electrical, Software or Automotive Engineering at an ABET-accredited programAble to work 40 hours per week during the internshipProficient with Microsoft Office Suite applicationsWillingness torelocateforinternship, if applicableCompletion of freshmanyear or higher at an accredited college or university by the spring of 2027Authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong written and verbal communication skillsCapable of working both independently and as part of a teamExceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across organizational levelsAbility to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated leadership in academic, extracurricular, or service activitiesAble to drive vehicles; possessing a valid driver's license.
