Job Description Lead Flight Test Engineer Location:
Berkeley, Missouri (Onsite) This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Permanent Role Overview An opportunity exists for a Lead Flight Test Engineer to support Air Dominance flight test programs. The successful candidate will provide leadership by coordinating the Flight Test Work Statement with various internal and external support groups. This role involves managing activities leading to the successful execution of a flight test program, including coordinating program requirements, overseeing test planning, and interfacing with the customer. Position Responsibilities Plan and coordinate flight test mission requirements with responsible engineers from internal and external customers. Develop flight test and mission profiles, develop and publish test plans, create flight test cards, and manage test schedules. Identify and coordinate the availability of test ranges and facilities with company and government agencies. Establish test planning working groups, plan and conduct flight test readiness reviews, and conduct pre and post-test briefings. Conduct ground and flight tests in accordance with established test plans and procedures. Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution. Prepare and publish test summaries and test reports. Support Cost Account Manager (CAM) activities. Lead and prepare for remote site deployments. Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity. Apply lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures. Lead test team training, track training/currency qualifications, and mentor team members. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Experience working on a flight test program, preferably as a flight test engineer. Experience with the principles of flight test or experience directly supporting flight test operations. Experience supporting a military flight test program. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) An active U.S. Security Clearance. Experience leading flight test execution in a control room environment as a test conductor and/or test director. Experience authoring test plans and test cards in support of a military flight test program. Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
