Overview Eagleview, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Field Systems Engineer in Rochester. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Flight Systems Engineer to join our team in delivering, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced imaging systems in dynamic and challenging environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, particularly in digital photography, electronics, and mechanical systems. This role requires a hands-on professional with a solid grasp of networking, Windows and Linux systems, and field service work. Responsibilities Assembly, installation, and maintenance of custom camera equipment using custom tools and software. Deploy software updates to remote locations. Repair and replace hardware components in remote locations. Develop process improvements. Document service history and hardware deployment. Setup, testing and deployment of image capture hardware and software. In office, normal business hours. Up to 50% travel. Qualifications Two- or Four-year college degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Strong computer and networking skills using both Windows and Linux. Effective communication skills, written and verbal. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform consistent, high-quality work. Comfortable in fast-paced, fluid environment with emerging processes and procedures. Ability to move and lift 75lbs. Ability to work in confined spaces. Preferred Familiarity with principles of digital photography and general construction of digital cameras. Aerial imaging or aircraft maintenance experience. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
