Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
  • Strong experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for aerospace applications
  • Hands-on experience in aerodynamic analysis and icing simulations with demonstrated design or certification impact
  • Strong fundamentals in numerical methods for PDEs (finite volume/finite element methods, discretization, solver techniques)
  • Experience with mesh generation tools (Pointwise)
  • Exposure to CAD environments (NX, Catia)
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and High-Performance Computing (HPC)
  • Programming experience in C/C++ and Python for simulation and automation
  • Experience in validation of CFD results using wind tunnel and/or flight test data
  • Familiarity with aircraft certification processes and regulatory interactions Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform CFD simulations to analyse aerodynamic performance (lift, drag, flow behaviour, stability effects)
  • Conduct icing simulations to assess impact on aircraft safety and performance
  • Develop and enhance numerical models, solvers, and aerodynamic methodologies
  • Generate high-quality computational meshes using Pointwise
  • Support design optimization through simulation-driven insights
  • Correlate simulation results with wind tunnel and flight test data
  • Utilize HPC environments to run large-scale aerodynamic simulations efficiently
  • Work closely with Structures, Loads, Flight Controls, and Systems Engineering teams
  • Support aerodynamic certification activities and documentation
  • Analyse complex flow physics including turbulence, boundary layer behaviour, and flow separation
  • Prepare and present technical reports, analysis results, and recommendations
  • Contribute to process improvements, tool development, and automation initiatives.

Base Salary Range :
$120,000 to $140,000
