$54.13/hr. on W2 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Mass Properties Engineer III to support the design, development, analysis, testing, and certification of advanced aerospace systems. This role is responsible for leading mass properties activities across the product lifecycle, including weight estimation, center of gravity calculations, inertia analysis, aircraft weighing, and mass properties model development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure accurate mass characteristics and support successful product performance and certification requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead mass properties calculations and analysis for complex aerospace platforms and systems. Develop, maintain, and validate mass properties models and simulations. Perform aircraft inventory management and aircraft weighing activities. Analyze weight, balance, center of gravity, and inertia characteristics throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including structures, systems, manufacturing, and test engineering. Support design trade studies and provide recommendations related to mass optimization and performance. Generate technical documentation, reports, and engineering data packages. Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace standards, requirements, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Support product development, qualification, testing, certification, and sustainment activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 6+ years of relevant engineering experience in mass properties, weight engineering, or aerospace systems analysis. Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
