- Flight Test Design Engineer (Associate or Experienced
- ) to join our team in
- Oklahoma City, OK.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting Instrumentation Design efforts on commercial derivative and military aircraft programs including Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) and
B52. BT&E
is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Experienced level Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineers.Position Responsibilities:
- + Develop designs and release engineering for flight test instrumentation installations on test aircraft using computer aided design tools like
CATIA & CREO
+ Work with program engineering teams to develop requirements, process and tool solutions and integrate instrumentation installations with production designs + Provide liaison engineering support during part fabrication/assembly, aircraft build, modification, test execution, and refurbishment phases + Work closely with manufacturing engineers to define engineering bill of material, address procurement and producibility concerns and assist with proper sequencing of installations during the build phase + Assist with defining wire diagrams for flight test data system hookups using tools like Mentor Graphics Capital- Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- + Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship + Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) + 1+ years of experience working in aerospace, defense, or similar high-tech industry + 1+ years of design or analysis experience on large fixed winged aircraft
- Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- + •Level 3•: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience + Experience using CATIA + Experience working with wiring diagrams and/or functional schematics •
