We are seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with deep expertise in PCB development, RF systems, and aerospace-grade electronics design. This role will lead the architecture, design, testing, and certification of complex digital, analog, and RF hardware solutions for mission-critical aerospace, defense, and aviation applications. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in hardware design and PCB development. Expert-level proficiency with Mentor Graphics PADS and DxDesigner. Strong experience designing digital, analog, and RF circuits. Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers. Demonstrated experience designing electronics for aerospace, defense, or aviation applications. Strong understanding of signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and hardware reliability in harsh operating environments. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills. Ability to lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineering staff. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of complex, multi-layer schematics and PCB layouts utilizing Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and PADS. Architect and design robust digital, analog, and high-frequency RF circuits optimized for demanding aerospace and defense environments. Perform hands-on hardware validation, board bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and other laboratory equipment. Conduct design verification and validation activities to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance. Lead technical design reviews and provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional team members. Ensure hardware designs comply with aerospace standards, safety requirements, signal integrity specifications, and environmental ruggedization criteria. Collaborate with systems, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
