Working within Honeywell Aerospace's Mechanical Systems and Components Organization, you will contribute to technologies that translate electronic commands into precise mechanical motion for some of the aerospace industry's most demanding applications. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and test engineers to develop integrated aerospace systems that support: Primary and secondary flight control actuation systems Electro-mechanical actuator development This role provides the opportunity to influence products throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept studies and system architecture through modeling, integration, qualification testing, production support, and product sustainment. You will solve complex multidisciplinary engineering challenges involving mechanical systems, controls, electronics, software, and system dynamics while helping deliver innovative aerospace solutions to customers around the world. You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Program Manager and work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. Key Responsibilities Support the development and integration of aerospace electro-mechanical actuation systems. Assist with system requirements, documentation, and verification activities. Develop models and simulations using MATLAB/Simulink and related tools. Perform engineering analyses to evaluate system performance and functionality. Support the integration of motors, sensors, controllers, and embedded systems. Participate in laboratory, HIL, environmental, and qualification testing. Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and document findings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout product development and testing.
